Art Centre for Children and Young People is organizing an international art exhibition in Hyvinkää, Finland. Finland’s Ministry of Education and the City of Hyvinkää maintain the art centre, which organizes exhibitions, collects art work and promotes art education.
Children from around the world are encouraged to participate in the exhibition that will take place in autumn 2010. The theme of the exhibition is ‘My home’ which should reflect the artist’s culture, environment and personal ideas. The pieces of art can be drawings, paintings, graphics, photographs, comics etc and should not exceed the size of 42cm x 60cm.
Participants are divided into the following categories: Under 7 year olds, 7-9 year olds, 10-12 year olds, 13-15 year olds and 16-18 year olds. An art work in each category will be awarded a prize.
